It is Hollands oldest youth television show, covering everything from the history of dinosaurs to how an iPhone is made. This was commissioned by advertising agency KesselsKramer and was made in collaboration with model maker/sculptor Jethro Haynes. The apples and core models were built using 3D printing technology.”

In Clothes, Fashion Designers on January 28, 2010 at 7:03 pmSome images from the new Givenchy Haute Couture show. Lamps were the first word that came to my head when I looked at the images. The silhouette is long, layered, see through, with a lot of lace and they seem to be wearing abat-jours on their heads. I always wonder who buys haute couture dresses and where they actually wear them. I would love to photograph a dinner party where a group of women would parade their dresses and accessories.
Tulle and a Chainsaw
In Editorial on January 27, 2010 at 9:25 amDo I find this collection to be interesting? Yes, definitely. Do I think that the times are appropriate for this sort of display and excess of material? Probably not. Do I believe you can get great editorial out of these garments? For sure. Do Viktor&Rolf manage to keep me interested every season? Hell yeah, no questions asked.
Lamp #1
In Product Design on January 27, 2010 at 9:04 am“The lamp presented here is the fifth instance of a parametric system with the following objective: shedding light on a precisely defined zone thanks to a unique light source placed on this very plane. The redirection of the light rays is product of a specific orientation of a number of reflective planes in space.
This fifth instance is an assembly of a light canon equipped with a 2.2W LED, three reflecting surfaces, 35 five joints and 94 carbon tubes. Every joint is unique and made by SLM (Selective Laser Melting).”
